Plot Summary :
Life has never been easy for Bridget. Being one of the people from the crown family and knowing that it was her family on the throne? Well that made things complicated. She had a nice bodyguard, someone who was her friend but now that was gone too and on top of that her bodyguard's replacement?? Well ..
Things really went downhill when her older brother resigned from the Throne and the next in line was , that's right , her. Now she was to become the queen and she had no idea how to do that. Her brooding hot bodyguard was certainly not making things any easier.
Rhys knew he was here to do a job. Even though the tempting princess made things difficult, he knew he could never give in. She was too much. Guys like him never got girls like her and she was destined for everything great. Then why did he want to ruin her? Make her as dirty as him. He wanted to keep the sweet princess , even though he knew it would not end well. Bridget was his. No matter what she said.
Overall Opinion :
I am not that much of a fan of the bodyguard trope , but omg. This book is literally the top read of mine in this series. And it's not because of the amazing plotline, but because of the added heat that the characters had. All the books have a good plotline but there was just something about this book that made me go crazy. I read them all in one go and never regretted it.
Definitely recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people. Its not exactly dark , but damn the hero is intense. It has all the crazy twists , the heat , and I am sure you all will love it!
