Plot Summary :
Punky never had an easy life. Witnessing his mum being murdered at the age of 5 made him let go of all the humanity that resides inside of him. Now the only thing he knows is to search for answers and kill the ones who took the only person who loved him away from him. That is until he meets babydoll. She is an enigma. She has appeared out of nowhere , enticing Punky during his mission and it's becoming tough for him to ignore her again and again.
Babydoll has her aims. Everything she does is for her family. Punky thinks she is dangerous and he has never been more right . Because them meeting was not by chance. Everything is already laid out by players much bigger than them and they are just the pawns.
Overall Opinion :
Omg MONICA!!!! Woow! Literal Mindfuck. This book had me in tears literally from the prologue itself. I have read a lot of books but I can assure you that I have never read anything as raw as the prologue for this book. I had emotions coursing through my body and the author made me feel everything that the characters were feeling! The book switched to a mystery read until I reached about 70%.
After that , there is one plot twist after another and there is no way you can survive! It's crazy! I endured so many twists over a literal span of a mere chapter and had my mind completely blown. That ending ,omg. Fabulous. The author made me think that the journey of characters was over at about 90%. But then holy shit , she turned the whole plot into something else and it was an amazing something else and I could just stand there watching her , destroying my heart one word at a time! I need the next book pronto!
